The Airport Express (H1)
The H1 runs between the airport and the 28 May area in central Baku (near the railway station and metro), stopping on the way. You pay a low flat fare with a BakıKart travel card — buy and top it up at the machine by the airport stop, as drivers do not take cash. Journey time is around 30–40 minutes depending on traffic; buses run roughly every half hour. It is comfortable and cheap, if slower and less suited to lots of luggage than a taxi.
